Badshah Reacts To Calling Sara Ali Khan's Rumoured Boyfriend Kartik Aaryan An "Overrated Actor"
Rapper Badshah opens up about referring to Kartik Aaryan as an overrated actor on Koffee With Karan and says that he is in fact a brilliant actor
Bollywood rapper Badshah is famously known for his Bollywood hit songs like Tareefan from Veere Di Weedding, Kar Gayi Chull from Kapoor & Sons and many more. The musician – singer has had a hit career and has now ventured into acting as he makes his debut as a pop star in Sonakshi Sinha starrer Khandaani Shafakhana. The rapper also starred along with Diljit Dosanjh on Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan and made news for calling Kartik Aaryan an overrated actor.
In the episode of Koffee With Karan starring Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah, the latter named Kartik Aaryan as the most overrated actor. When Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon made an appearance on the show, Kartik was told about Badshah naming him an overrated actor, to which he wondered why anyone would call him overrated. Now, Badshah clears the air a while later in an interview with Mumbai Mirror. Badshah said, “I don’t know why I named him, maybe because we were talking about Kartik during the break. It just came out but the fact is that he is a brilliant actor with a very good script sense. When I told Kartik, I was acting, he joked, ‘Beta, ab tu dekh’.”
Badshah will be seen rapping in Salman Khan’s next film Dabangg 3 song Munna Badnaam Hua. He has already made us groove on some of his hit numbers and now we can’t wait to see him charm the audience with his acting skills. Khandaani Shafakhana is set to release in theatres on August 2, 2019.
