Cut to comparisons drawn by certain members of the Censor Board about a similar ploy used by the song DK Bose in Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly, which incidentally became a big controversy and one of the highlights of the unconventional film which hit box-office success.

When contacted, Censor Chief Pahlaj Nihalani said: We had asked for the pronunciation of the word Bank Chor to be changed so that it does not sound objectionable. We heard it in the promo and we thought it was not clear.”

Added Nihalani, “Only after the change was made, we gave the film a U/A certificate.”
