Pakistani artistes are banned in India but the Kapoor family organised a Ghazal night with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Abu Dhabi
Sometimes exceptions can be made? Kapoor and family with the young brigade are currently in Abu Dhabi to attend the wedding of Akshay Marwah with Aashika Relan. Akshay is Anil Kapoor’s sister’s son and actor Mohit Marwaah’s real brother.
As we know that the social media is flooded with pictures and videos being posted by Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and other cousins of the groom to share their celebration. While they are at it, we discovered few videos which showed Pakistani artiste Rahet Fateh Ali Khan performing at the wedding. Well yes, a ghazal night by the singer was organized by the Kapoors.
Pakistani artistes might be banned in India, but if someone wants to enjoy their art, they have an option of going across the border. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan crooned to some of his hit numbers like Main Jaa Rahoon, Afreen and many more. Check it out:
Enthralled with the first wedding of 2017 in their house, the Kapoor siblings shared many updates on Instagram. Sonam Kapoor shared photos of the full Kapoor cousin squad displaying her excitement about the wedding. She posted the picture with the caption saying, "The family troupe is ready for the @akshaymarwah22 and @aaahitarelan16 wedding!! #akmash"
Designer Kunal Rawal, who is a close friend of the groom, was also present at the do. Shraddha Kapoor's brother Siddhant Kapoor also attended the wedding.
After the wedding, Arjun Kapoor took a flight to London to shoot for Mubarakaan.
Looks like Kapoor Khandaan had great fun at this wedding.
