Amidst lockdown, Akshay Kumar has begun shooting for his upcoming film, Bell Bottom. Earlier, in August, the actor headed to Scotland to complete the shoot of the film along with his ensemble star cast which includes Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta and Jackky Bhagnani. Having said that, Akshay Kumar's fan club shared a few pictures of the actor from the sets of Bell Bottom. The actor is seen wearing vintage style costumes like turtleneck t-shirts and jackets pairing it with chunky sunglasses. Akshay looks extremely suave and dapper in the retro attire which will intrigue you to watch the film. 
 
Earlier, Akshay shared a video saying the team is following all new norms and in the short video clip, he can be seen with clapboard in his hand and wrote, "Lights, Camera, Mask On and Action. Following all the new norms and filming on for #BellBottom! It’s a difficult time but work has to go on. Need your love and luck." Meanwhile, Bollywood Hungama reported that Akshay Kumar and his team were put under 14-day quarantine by the government after they reached Scotland.
 
“Everyone was quarantined at a hotel in and around Glasgow for safety purposes and with the period finally coming to an end now, a near 40-day start to finish shoot will now begin,” a source told the portal.

Workwise, Akshay Kumar's Laxxmi Bomb will release on Disney+ Hotstar. His Sooryavanshi along with Katrina Kaif will be releasing this Diwali. It is reported that the film might get to a digital release instead of theatrical release. He also has Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi Re, Raksha Bandhan and Prithviraj in the pipeline.
