Besides Shahid Kapoor Film, Nikkhil Advani To Helm A 7-Season Web Series On Mughal Dynasty- EXCLUSIVE
Famous filmmaker Nikkhil Advani is making news for his next with Kabir Singh actor, Shahid Kapoor, but it’s not just the film he is working on. SpotboyE.com hears that Advani plans to make a web series based on Mughal dynasty. It will be a 7-season series with 9 episodes in each season
Nikkhil Advani is a busy man. The filmmaker has taken up a couple of projects in his hand. And they’re just not Bollywood but also web series. That’s right. Nikkhil Advani has decided to explore the digital platform and guess what he wants to experiment with the period genre. We get you all the details about his new venture.
SpotboyE.com has it that Nikkhil Advani is planning to helm a 7-season web series based on the Mughal dynasty. It will stream on Hotstar. The web series will have 9 episodes each. So in all, the complete web series will have 63 episodes. We also hear that the subject for the first 3 episodes have been finalised and they will begin from Babur, the Mughal ruler who laid the foundation of the dynasty, followed by the season based on his son, Humayun’s life and third season on Akbar. The subjects for other seasons are yet to be decided.
The web series will be initially directed by Nikkhil, however, later he may give various episodes to other well-noted directors. This is the first time Nikkhil will be exploring digital space. We sent out a text to Nikkhil to confirm the details, but he did not respond till the time of going online.
Talking a bit more about the filmmaker, we told you yesterday that Nikkhil’s film with Shahid Kapoor, being directed by Ranjit Tiwari, will be based on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The role which the Kabir Singh actor will portray is yet to be decided. We had also got you what the director, Ranjit, had to say on the news.
