Anushka Sharma is back to work and how! After announcing the release date of
Pari yesterday, Anushka, a few minutes ago, released the fresh poster of the
film on social media.
In the poster, we see a battered Anushka Sharma seated
with a spooky look on her face. The presence of a ghost-like figure right
behind the actress with hands placed on her shoulder adds to the eeriness. The actress
took to her Instagram account and captioned the snap, “#HoliWithPari
@officialcsfilms @parambratachattopadhyay @iprernaarora #KarneshSharma @kriarj
#ArjunNKapoor #poojafilms.”
Yesterday, the actress shared the motion poster of Pari thereby announcing the release date -- March 2. She shared the same on her Instagram account and captioned the video, “Sweet dreams guys...... #HoliWithPari (sic).”
This is Anushka Sharma’s first film poster after her much
talked about wedding with Virat Kohli. A few days ago, we told you that the
makers of Pari (Anushka Sharma and Prernaa Arora, KriArj Entertainment,
co-producer of the film) had to cancel the film’s digital poster release due to
Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor’s Padmavati.
A source had told SpotboyE.com, “Anushka and Prernaa
Arora (KriArj Entertainment, co-producer of Pari) had decided to launch the
trailer today as no films were on the horizon as a result of which movie-buffs
would be focused on Pari. However, speculations surrounding Padmavati’s release
date forced them to change their plans.”
The film was initially slated to hit theatres on February
9. However, makers of Padmavati were eyeing the spot of January 26 or February
9 for the release of the magnum opus which made them think about Pari's
release.
