Early in March, the Bhediya team visited Arunachal Pradesh to shoot one schedule amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Not once, the film’s leads Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon failed to keep their fans posted about their shooting updates which intrigued many. In fact, Kriti’s episodes of Arunachal Pradesh only raised our anticipation and of course, it tempted us to visit the beautiful state as well. Now, the team has wrapped a schedule in the state and to bid farewell, Kriti once again shot the last video where they were seen inhaling the fresh breeze of the state.
Enjoying the place for the last time, Kriti and Varun are heard saying that they have wrapped a schedule in Ziro in the video. She also thanked the state and the authorities for being helpful to the team. She wrote, “#ArunachalTravelSeries #BHEDIYA Episode 4: And... Its a schedule WRAP! @varundvn We were blessed to have finished the schedule so smoothly during this terrible pandemic, thanks to Arunachal Pradesh being a Covid free state and the authorities being so helpful!” Earlier, the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu took to his Twitter handle and shared some pictures from the sets.
He thanked the team for choosing Arunachal Pradesh for the shoot and wrote, “Shooting of #Bhediya, an upcoming #Bollywood movie being directed by @amarkaushik, featuring @Varun_dvn and @kritisanon is in its final leg. Dropped in at the shooting site today. Pleasure meeting all the film crew at picturesque #Ziro. Thanks for choosing #Arunachal.”
Helmed by Amar Kaushik, Bhediya is a horror-comedy that also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal, written by National Award Winner, Niren Bhatt. Bhediya is slated to release in cinemas on April 14, 2022.
