Ever since the announcement, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya was one of the most anticipated movies of Bollywood. The stars unveiled the trailer today and the social media is abuzz with positive reviews from the masses.

The trailer follows the journey of man who was bit by a wolf and how he slowly transitions into a werewolf ensuing confusion among his friends and chaos in his daily life.

While, Bollywood has given us movies and shows on shape-shifting Naagin’s, we had yet to see a full-fledged supernatural drama with vampires and werewolves. Bhediya might just be their first step in the right direction.

The internet is currently showering accolades on the trailer and going gaga over Varun Dhawan’s looks, expressions and the CGI/VFX, some netizens have drawn comparisons with the movie Twilight, Teen Wolf.

#Bhediya trailer is nice... A very good attempt from Bollywood... The cgi is better as far as bollywood is concerned. Transformation of #VarunDhawan into a werewolf is good.

The movie also marks the return of the horror-comedy duo Dinesh Vijan and Stree director Amar Kaushik. Applauding the tow for bringing such a brilliant concept in Bollywood, on Twitterati wrote, “Hats off to this man #dineshvijan who always bring amazing script To audience @MaddockFilms @Varun_dvn vd is back @kritisanon and hats off to VFX team #Bhediya”, other said, “Kiya baat hai dekhna to padega looks promising laag to rahi hai.”

People went as far as to say that the VFX in the trailer looks way better than that of Adipurush and Brahmastra. They also mentioned how Bhediya will be an out and out Varun Dhawan show and they are excited to watch the actor on the big screen.

The movie is all set to release on November 25, 2022 in 2D and 3D. The movie also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal.
