Bollywood films are slowly and steadily marking their return to the theaters. Amid the lockdown, the Maharashtra Government had announced ban on theaters in order to curb the spiking COVID-19 cases. Earlier Maha Govt had announced the re-opening of theaters with 50% capacity which was further changed into 100% capacity. As the owners are set to welcome its audience back into the theaters, filmmakers have announced the theatrical release of their upcoming films. Last week, YRF announced the release date of their 5 big budget movies. Now, Kartik Aaryan is the latest actor to announce the theatrical release of his much-anticipated film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Some time back, T-series took to their official social media handle to announce the official release date Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Headlined by Kartik Aaryan, the film also stars Tabu and Kiara Advani in the key roles. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s is up for theatrical release on 19th November this year. T-series Tweeted, “The edge-of-the seat comedy psychological thriller, #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 starring @TheAaryanKartik, #Tabu & @advani_kiara will release in theatres on 19th November 2021. Produced by #BhushanKumar, @MuradKhetani & #KrishanKumar under the banner of @TSeries & @Cine1Studios.” 

Earlier a source had told Pinkvilla, ““The film was first planned to be shot in November last year, however, Kartik was skeptical on travelling outdoors and hence, it was called off. Since then, the makers were trying to take the film on floors in January, however, Tabu, who plays a pivotal role in the film, showed her reservations on shooting the film due to the Covid fear after someone close to her got exposed to the virus.” 

The source had further added, “The actress has informed the team about her decision to shoot only after getting vaccinated. She is expecting even the crew to be vaccinated to avoid the spread of the virus.
