Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Kiara Advani CONFIRMS Testing Negative For Coronavirus Along With Director After Kartik Aaryan Tests Positive

A few days ago, Kartik Aaryan confirmed on his Instagram account that he has tested positive for Coronavirus. He put up a plus sign on Instagram and made the announcement. Later, it was reported that the cast and crew of Bhool Bhulaiyaa would undergo Coronavirus test. Stars like Kiara Advani, Tabu, director Anees Bazmee and others were supposed to take the COVID-19 test as they were shooting with Kartik Aaryan. Now, Kiara has revealed her test result.

To Etimes, the actress confirmed that she along with director Anees Bazmee have tested negative. She said, "Bazmee sir and I have tested negative." The test results of actress Tabu are still awaited. Currently, the shooting of the film has come to a halt. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the next instalment of the franchise that starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the first film.

After Kartik tested positive for Coronavirus, the director had expressed shock stating that all the guidelines were properly followed on the sets. "We followed strict covid guidelines, the entire unit including actors and technicians were tested every night before going on set the next day. We are all getting tested and will know only tomorrow if any other member of the crew has also got infected," he said.


This is for the second time that the shooting of the film has come to a halt. The film was being shot before the pandemic hit India. Due to the lockdown, the makers had to stop the shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. It was recently that the stars resumed work on this one.
