Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Shoot Of Kartik Aaryan And Kiara Advani Starrer Put On Hold Amidst Reports Of A Lockdown
Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 shoot has come to a halt again, courtesy lockdown reports. Director Anees Bazmee revealed that he will wait and watch and then bat it with his team
Director Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani has been in the making for a long time. However, it came to a halt after COVID-19 broke in 2020. Soon, the team resumed shooting by the end of 2020 while Kartik Aaryan tested positive for COVID-19. Well, once again, the film’s shoot has been interrupted due to the second wave of Coronavirus. According to the reports, the Maharashtra state government will impose another lockdown in the coming days but nothing is confirmed yet. Having said that, the shoot has come to a halt again.
Director Anees Bazmee revealed that he will wait and watch and then bat it with his team. “I am waiting because there are reports of the lockdown being extended, and rumours of a complete lockdown in Mumbai. So, we are unable to plan anything. Kartik is so kind. He has told us, ‘Whenever you decide to shoot, I am ready.’ All actors involved have been cooperative,” says the director of the horror-comedy, also starring Tabu and Kiara Advani, to Mid-Day.
Bazmee added, “Now, we’ll have to rebuild it before we resume shooting. But if the lockdown [is imposed] after our set is ready, it will be a heavy loss for the producers, so we might as well wait it out.” Anees also said that they have to shoot at a haveli that couldn’t get finished last March because of the pandemic. Hence, the team will have to go back to Lucknow for a 10-day stint.
