After Happy New Year, Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan are once again collaborating for Diya Annapurna Ghosh’s Bob Biswas. Early, December last year, a picture of Abhishek Bachchan in Bob Biswas avatar had surfaced on social media and it had gone viral for all the good reasons. Later on Dec 10, the makers had announced the wrap of Bob Biswas that also stars Chitrangda Singh in the pivotal roles. Now here’s the latest update about the film that is being backed by Shah Rukh Khan's production house Red Chillies production.
As per the latest reports, Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan’s joint venture will take off in Summer, this year. Yes, you heard that right! If all goes well, Bob Biswas will hit the theatres in Summer 2021. A source close to the film revealed to Pinkvilla, “Bob Biswas will release in the theatres in summer 2021. The makers are presently eying May and should lock the final date in a few days. Abhishek and Chitrangada Singh have also completed most of their dubbing for the film, which is presently in the post-production stage.”
Meanwhile, theaters are opening up gradually and filmmakers have started announcing the release dates of their upcoming films. Salman Khan announced the release date of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Shahid Kapoor announced Jersey’s release date and Ajay Devgn Maidaan’s release date.
On New Year, Abhishek Bachchan had shared a video that was a roundup of his life in 2020. He had captioned the video, “2020 A year with so much to cherish, learn & remember... One can try to put it in a video but what stays with me is that unsaid power to do more.
