Bollywood elated about Udta Punjab’s victory over Censor Board

A short while ago, the Bombay High Court ordered the Central Board of Film Certification to pass Udta Punjab with an ‘A’ certificate and a single cut (Udta Punjab wins the battle against the Censor Board, Jun 13). The cast and crew of the film were on cloud 9 after this historic judgement. Shahid Kapoor, Anurag Kashyap, DIljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt took to Twitter to express their joy. Udta Punjab was supposed to hit theatres on June 17, but after this controversy there remained a question related to the postponement of the film. However, right after the victory, directory Abhishek Chaubey informed that the film is still going to hit theatres on June 17.
