Rajinikanth and his family received a bomb threat yesterday and this piece of news went viral in no time. According to reports, a phone call was made by an anonymous person to Chennai Police to inform them that a bomb was planted at the superstar's Poes Garden residence in Chennai. Soon after the news broke, a team of police and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) rushed at the superstar’s abode in no time. Now, here’s the latest update about the bomb threat at the superstar's house.

As per the latest reports, it was a hoax call. The called made the call to 108 ambulance centre and told them that the bomb was planted at Rajinikanth’s abode in Poes Garden. The police have now traced out all the details of the random call. And the caller has turned out to be a class 8th student. Yes, you heard that right! After learning about the student's medical condition of learning disability, Police later released the caller after regular procedure check.

Well, we must say such hoaxes must have annoyed Mr. Rajnikanth and policemen in these difficult times of Coronavirus.  On the professional front, Thalaivaa Rajinikanth will be seen in Annaatthe directed by Siruthai Siva.
