Producer Ekta Kapoor’s latest Instagram story made us nostalgic and teary-eyed. After sharing title montage of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s popular TV show Pavitra Rishta backed by her production house Balaji Telefilms, she now shares a video of the first award the late award ever won in his acting career. Video clip of the award show has Sushant bubbling with joy and his team cheering him as he picks the most popular male award in the TV industry in the year 2010, at Indian Television Academy Awards.
The video has him thanking ITA, Ekta Kapoor, production house Balaji Telefilms and lastly his mother. While he thanked Ekta Kapoor for this wonderful opportunity the producer gave him, which made him a household name, he dedicated his award to his mother. He is heard saying in the video, “This is for you mom, I love you so much” Looking all dapper in a black suit, he quickly ends his thank you speech and rushes down the stage.
The joy in voice and bustling energy is a treat for his fans for sure.
Post his first win he continued winning best male actor award in the TV world for Pavitra Rishta. He was also awarded by BIG Star Entertainment Awards, Gold Awards and Kalakar Awards for the portrayal of Manav on screen.
