So far it has largely been oomph but when it came to displaying acting chops, Urvashi Rautela left no stone unturned to grab Annes Bazmee's upcoming flick Pagalpanti (produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak). The lady in question will be seen in a slapstick comedy genre for the first time and we hear, she is dancing in the aisles.
"Why not?" says a source, adding, "Urvashi will get to do the challenging slapstick genre for the first time. She loves this genre and will put her best foot forward." We hear, Ms Rautela may have to undergo a few workshops before facing the camera. When contacted, Urvashi confirmed and said, "After Hate Story 4, I got many film offers but I refused. I now wanted to do a film that will explore my acting side. Pagalpanti came along and I immediately said 'yes' because I wanted to work with Anees since a long time. I am a big fan of his films- No Entry, Welcome, Ready and especially Sinngh Is King."
Pagalpanti stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D'cruz and Arshad Warsi. Anil and John worked with Anees in Welcome Back in 2015. Ileana worked with him in Mubarakan (Anil too was a part of it). We hear, Pagalpanti will roll in London and will have a 50-day uninterrupted schedule. Urvashi was seen in Sanam Re and Great Grand Masti as well as two music videos in 2016. The first was Laal Dupatta with Mika Singh and Anupama Raag and the other was Gal Bann Gayi along with Vidut Jamwal.
In 2017, Urvashi starred in a special dance number Haseeno Ka Deewana in Kaabil. She was complimented on her performance by the man who originally danced to this classic song – Amitabh Bachchan. .Apart from that she made a special appearance in Porobashinee. In 2018, she appeared in the revenge drama Hate Story 4.
As for Urvashi's current state of mind, we told you she's dancing in the aisles!
