Boney Kapoor Finally Speaks Out On Janhvi's Link-Up With Ishaan Khatter

The Internet has been agog with rumours of the Dhadak couple Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter being more than just good friends. We woke up to a flurry of such reports this morning and decided to pick the phone and dial Boney Kapoor’s digits for his version. Janhvi’s daddy laughed off these reports and simply said, “Yes, Ishaan and Janhvi have done a movie together and they must have become friends. I respect my daughter and her friendship with Ishaan.”
Online reports claim that the Dhadak co-stars have been “spending an inordinate amount of time together.” They also suggest that Ishaan is often spotted spending time at the Kapoor residence. “We hear that Ishaan is always at Janhvi’s house and is quite welcomed by her dad Boney Kapoor who seems to be quite fond of him. In fact, Janhvi’s older sibling Anshula can’t have enough of teasing the duo."
Rubbishing these off, a source close to Kapoors tells us, “Ishaan has, in fact, never visited the Kapoor residence after Dhadak released. There is nothing more than friendship between Janhvi and Ishaan.”
There was tremendous buzz that the two have been finalised to play the lead in Karan Johar’s upcoming flick, a remake of the South superhit, Dear Comrade. However, Karan himself took to his social media handles to refute these reports.
