Death strikes everyone, but sometimes it comes a bit too early. Strangely, it sometimes follows a pattern. And pattern it has followed in Boney's case. Mona & Sridevi missed out on Arjun and Janhvi's first film!

Both Wives Of Boney, Mona & Sridevi, Passed Away Close To Seeing Their Kids On-Screen!

Boney Kapoor's estranged first wife, Mona Kapoor, died 2 months before the release of her son Arjun Kapoor's first film Ishaqzaade. While Ishaqzaade released in May 2012, Mona passed away in March.

Now, his second wife Sridevi has succumbed to massive cardiac arrest a month before the release of her daughter Janhvi Kapoor's first film. Dhadak is 5 months away, scheduled to hit theatres on July 6.

How can fate be so cruel?

This pattern is terrible.

We totally empathised with Arjun then, and Janhvi now.

The thought came to mind when the news about Sridevi's demise was confirmed, and it has disturbed us a lot since then.

We once again extend our condolences to Mr Boney Kapoor and his daughters Janhvi & Khushi.

SpotboyE.com has it that Sridevi asked her husband Boney to return to Mumbai after the wedding in question (Sonam Kapoor's cousin Mohit Marwah) was over.

And return he did!

Why did Sridevi want to stay back? Our source says that the legendary actress told her husband that she just wants to have a short holiday, no specific reason per se.

Boney returned and was just waiting for the day when Sridevi would join them. Ditto for Janhvi who hadn't attended Mohit's wedding as she was shooting for Dhadak in Mumbai. Alas!

And when the shocking news came, Boney flew out in a minute! Back to Dubai.

What a tragedy!

Sridevi was called the first female superstar of Hindi cinema and had several super performances to her credit. She had an impeccable timing as a comedienne.

She made a massive comeback with English Vinglish (which won her several awards) in 2012 and then stunned fans as a villainous queen in Puli, which also marked her return to Tamil cinema after a gap of more than 20 years. She was last seen in Mom, where again her performance was praised no end and even won her the Best Actor Female Award at the Zee Cine Awards Nite.
