This is Pooja's second marriage. The former Miss India let go of her career after marrying the love of her life, an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Sonu S. Ahluwalia. Post her marriage to Sonu in 2002, Pooja shifted to Los Angeles, California. However, after 9 years of marriage, Pooja and Sonu filed for divorce.
Talking about their professional lives, Nawab has acted in some acclaimed films which include Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Tiger Zinda Hai, Don 2, Dilwale.
