YouTube star Ajey Nagar, popularly known as CarryMinati has garnered a massive fan base. He is a YouTube sensation and his fans love watching his ‘roast’ videos. CarryMinati will also be marking his Bollywood debut with the film MayDay, which stars Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Amidst all the success, Nagar recently made an appearance on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s What Women Want. During the timeline of the show, he discussed ‘women’s safety on the internet’ with Kareena. Now, viewers have reacted, opening up about YouTube star’s content.

On Instagram, reacting to the news about CarryMinati discussing ‘women’s safety’ with Bebo, many internet users expressed their views on the YouTuber’s content till date. And, they also criticised his content. As CarryMinati has s been infamous for using misogynistic expletives in his ‘roast’ videos, several called him out for his homophobic and transphobic content in the recent past. One user commented, “Hypocrisy! Anyway, waise bhi 50 rupees kaato Carry Minati ki overacting ka!” Another user wrote, “Let's call it a Promotional,” and many criticised Kareena and Ajey, citing that it’s all done for TRP ratings.

While Ajey Nagar faced severe backlash, he also received immense support from some followers. One fan wrote, “Vo roast krta pr kabhi women ko disrespect nhi kia usne..he's a nice guy..” Whereas, another one commented, “Genuine hai banda.”

Meanwhile, during his appearance on Kareena’s show, the Jab We Met actress questioned CarryMinati about his roast videos and being an online bully. Reacting to Bebo’s question, Ajey said, “First of all, whenever I roast someone, I take their permission. The person should know that I am making a video on him. If that person is familiar with my content, they have an idea of what to expect, and obviously, if they are not, they can always check out my channel.” He then mentioned that until he does not get the required permission from a person, he does not make the video. Nagar also shared that the responses he gets from people are mostly positive. And, he mentioned that he never makes the video intense.
