Now, Times Now has reported that Mumbai Police will likely make an attempt for a parallel probe along with the CBI.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh briefed the media today. According to Times Now, he said that they will decide about the parallel probe by Mumbai Police on the basis if Para 34. Times Now also quoted him saying, “State Govt will cooperate with the SC order. Politics over this case happened in view of Bihar polls. But SC observed that Mumbai Police did the job in an efficient manner.” While briefing the media, Anil Deshmukh said that the politics over Sushant’s death case was being done eyeing the upcoming elections in Bihar, but it’s a blow to all the political leaders who have been trying to malign the Mumbai Police, as the Supreme Court today has made it very clear that the Mumbai Police probe was done in an efficient manner.
