Actress Celina Jaitly has managed to win hearts with her films and is marking her comeback soon. The actress recently released the poster of her new short film titled Season’s Greetings based on a relationship between a mother and daughter. As the actress is making her comeback soon, during an interview, Jaitly opened up about her battle with depression after losing parents and son shares why she decided to do the film. Celina also revealed how her husband Peter left his job to support her.

In an interview with Gulf News, Celina Jaitly revealed that the shooting of the film Season’s Greetings helped her heal after losing her parents and son. The actress mentioned how one can never find closure when you lose your parents but shared that the movie helped her vent out a lot of emotions. Celina said, “You can never find closure when you lose the most important and valuable things in your life. Daddy had just passed away and suddenly mama too … My parents were so full of life and they were this young, military army couple. The truth is you can never get closure from losing your parents. But this movie helped me a vent a lot of emotions… “ Later the actress also added that she is not getting treated anymore for depression in Austria for the past one year now.

Celina later went on to share how her husband has been a great support system for her during her battle with depression. The actress mentioned that her hubby Peter Haag sacrificed his job for her because she was suffering from severe depression. Jaitly went on to reveal that as the couple had no option, she had no option but to leave Dubai with her husband and move to Austria. Celina also shared how her husband’s support meant a lot to her as he said, “let’s go back to Austria and let us disconnect from everything till you get better,” and mentioned it helped her.


Meanwhile, Celina Jaitly also shared that the reason behind her shooting Season’s Greetings was that it was her mom’s last wish that she returns back to the cinema. On the other hand, Season’s Greetings will release on April 15 on the streaming platform ZEE5.
