Censor Board chopped off these 8 scenes from The Nice Guys
The Ryan Gosling-Russell Crowe starrer’s Indian version pales in comparison to its original counterpart
For all those who are going to catch up on Hollywood release The Nice Guys over the weekend, this one’s for you.
The dark comedy, that received glowing reviews across the world, failed to impress Pahlaj Nihalani much. The Censor Board Chief went snip-happy as he deleted several scenes from the Ryan Gosling-Russell Crowe starrer.

SpotboyE got a copy of the Censor certificate which has details of the 8 scenes that have been removed.
While expletives like ‘c**k’, ‘f**k you’ and ‘ba**s’ have been deleted, the film’s opening scene which sees an adult star dying in an accident has been trimmed due to its frontal nudity. It doesn’t matter to the Board that the scene in question is extremely important to the narrative as it sets the very premise of the comedy.
Earlier this year, upon Deadpool’s release in India, fans were furious at the innumerable cuts in the film. Will The Nice Guys face a similar response?
