Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has a busy year ahead. Shraddha, who is currently busy with multiple projects in the pipeline has signed her next titled Chaalbaaz In London. The actress is set to play her first-ever double role in the film Chaalbaaz In London. The film will be directed by Pankaj Parashar, who directed the 1989 Sridevi classic Chaalbaaz. The movie will be backed by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T- Series and Ahmed Khan and Shaira Khan's Paper Doll Entertainment.
On Saturday, the makers of Chaalbaaz In London dropped the announcement video. The makers of Shraddha Kapoor’s next projects announced the film on YouTube. They shared the official motion poster of the movie. It features the Big Ben Tower and gives the viewer a clear idea that the film is set in London. Although it’s unclear whether the Shraddha starrer is a remake of the 1989 film, the announcement video saw the Chaalbaaz song Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’s music playing in the background.
According to a report in the Hindustan Times, in a statement, Shraddha said she is thrilled to work on the project. She revealed she is excited to take on the challenge of portraying the double role, a first in her career. The actress said, "Although there's a huge responsibility on me, I'm happy that Bhushan sir and Ahmed sir feel that I will be able to pull it off.” Kapoor added, "Also, it’s a great opportunity and a learning experience for me to work with Pankaj sir who has entertained us for so many years. Looking forward to this journey.”
