Deepika Padukone has been garnering a lot of praise for her stellar performance as Malti in the film Chhapaak that is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. As the film is based on a sensitive topic related to the emotions of an acid attack survivor, Deepika has landed up in trouble once again for her actions. While the actress has been promoting her film to the fullest, Padukone recently turned her acid attack look from Chhapaak into a TikTok challenge. In return, the actress got brutally trolled by the netizens on social media.  

As Deepika Padukone has been promoting the film Chhapaak, during the promotions, the actress met many TikTok stars and asked one of them to recreate her three favorite looks. Asking user @faby_makeupartist to recreate her three looks from three films, Om Shanti Om, Piku and Chhapaak. The TikTok user shared the video with Deepika and the actress called it her, ‘Chhapaak look'. Deepika’s TikTok challenge did not go well with many, and fans took to Twitter to express their anger. On Twitter, a user wrote, “And just when we thought that @deepikapadukone couldn’t mock Lakshmi anymore through her PR stunts in JNU she comes up with tick tok challenge on acid attack victims. Gross.,” while another tweeted, “Acid attack Make-up ??  How low it can get ?? Shame on you !! @deepikapadukone,” asking how low the actress can get.







Needless to say, Deepika’s action hurt many fans, leaving them upset stating that she mocked a sensitive subject.
