Chhichhore First Weekend Box-Office Collection: Sushant Singh Rajput And Shraddha Kapoor’s Film Takes A Flying Jump
This Friday we had Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma’s Chhichhore making it to the theatres. On the first day, the film received a lukewarm response. It failed to register good footfall on day one but over the weekend, the film made up for all the loss. On Saturday and Sunday, the collection showed a great jump putting Chhichhore on the path of success. As per reports, the three-day collection of Chhichhore stands at Rs 35.98 crore.

Sushant and Shraddha’s film received extremely good reviews and thanks to this positive word of mouth, the film managed to jump on the weekend. Blame it on Mumbai rains too that not many stepped out of their homes on Friday. On Saturday, Chhichhore made Rs 12.25 crore. On Sunday the collections were huge. The film minted Rs 16.41 crore. In total, Chhichhore in three days made Rs 35.98 crore as on day 1, it had made Rs 7.32 crore.

Now, the litmus test is the first Monday. If it manages to earn well on the first Monday, the film is a hit. Another factor working for Chhichhore is that it has been made on a low budget. It has been directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari.

This Friday, we will have Dream Girl hitting the screens. With Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead, Dream Girl is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. Post its release, it would be difficult for Sushant and Shraddha’s Chhichhore to stay strong.
