Chitrangada's big career shift
Chitrangada Singh is one smart cookie. At a time when her film career isn't really going great guns, she's making a conscious career shift to set up her own production house. Not a bad move at all, considering most big Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra and more recently Chitrangada's good friend Salman Khan have taken to producing films. The latest on the Inkaar actress is that she plans to direct a film.

Chitrangada was recently in the news for walking out on director Kushan Nandy when he insisted she shot an intense lovemaking scene in a particular way for his comeback flick Babumoshai Bandookbaaz with Nawazuddin Siddiqui (CHITRANGDA FINALLY EXPLODES: I was wearing a petticoat and Kushan asked me to put my legs on either side of Nawaz and grind. June 13).

Post the episode, Chitrangada has been maintaining a very low key, much lower than what she was maintaining earlier when she parted ways with her golfer husband Jyoti Randhawa. But now we hear, the actress is all set to make a comeback, but this time she will be behind the cameras.
The actress is already in touch with a couple of writers whose scripts she is reading. Meanwhile, SpotboyE.com has learnt that Chitrangada herself is also penning a story at leisure.

Sometime back, Chitrangada had expressed an interest to produce her first film with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. A sports biopic, she wanted to put the life of the hockey player Sandeep Singh on celluloid.
Word was that Chitrangada had bought the rights for making a film on the life of the ace drag-flicker. Will this be the first movie that she will turn producer and director with?
