Chunky Panday On Daughter Ananya Panday Getting TROLLED For Her Outfits: ‘Never Told Her What To Wear, She Is In Showbiz So Needs To Look Glamorous’
Chunky Panday opens up about his daughter Ananya Panday being trolled for her sense of style
Ananya Panday is known for her impeccable fashion sense in Bollywood. Right from traditional outfits, western looks to even bikinis, the actress can pull off any attire like a pro. However, Ananya sometimes also gets trolled for her bold fashion choices. Recently, she was trolled for her back thigh-high slit sheer dress with a corset bodysuit at Apoorva Mehta’s 50th star-studded birthday bash. Prior to that, she was on netizens' radar for her short outfits during Gehraiyaan promotions.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Ananya’s father Chunky Panday has opened up about the actress’ sense of style and asserted that since she is a part of the showbiz world, she needs to look glamorous. He also revealed that as a father he never told her daughters what to wear and what not to.
Chunky was quoted saying, “We, as parents, have never told her what to wear and what not to. We brought up both of our daughters quite well and they are very sensible. Ananya is in the show business today, and she needs to look glamorous. She should put her best foot forward and dress up.”
The Jawaani Jaaneman actor added that he often tells Ananya that the best way to deal with trolls is to ‘laugh over their comments’.
“I tell Ananya, ‘At least people are discussing you, be it good or bad’. We make sure that we don’t bother about trolls. She has learnt to laugh at herself. One shouldn’t let these things get to their heart,” Chunky further explained. In fact, the actor also made a candid confession as he revealed that his family had made "fun of his clothing choices.” He also advised that one should take these as a compliment and should not get affected by trolling.
