Even the biggest of achievers are star struck on meeting their favourite idols. So, we weren’t surprised to see our politicians go starry-eyed seeing Salman Khan. It so happened that Rahul Gandhi, President of Indian National Congress, flew down to Mumbai this morning, to conduct a rally. And several congress leaders went to the airport to receive him.
As they were waiting for Mr Gandhi to arrive, they met Salman Khan there. Guess what happened next? They clicked a group picture with the superstar to capture the moment forever. Just for your information, two of the Congress leaders namely Sushil Kumar Shinde and Baba Siddique are good friends of the actor and are his neighbours too.
At the end of the day, they all would’ve returned home, beaming with happiness. For those unaware, Salman Khan was in Chandigarh for Celebrity Cricket League Match. He cheered for his brother Sohail Khan’s team Mumbai Heroes from the stands wearing a blue jersey. On the work front, Salman will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat next alongside Katrina Kaif. The movie will be releasing during Eid this year.
