After almost 3 months of lockdown, here’s an update on Coolie No. 1. Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer Coolie No. 1 makers have dropped a fresh poster of the film online. The film, which wrapped up its shoot in early March, has been giving its fans regular updates about the film. Coolie No. was earlier scheduled to release on May 1, but due to the lockdown, the makers are yet to give an official update on the release date. But to keep the buzz alive, the makers have now dropped the poster with a Coronavirus twist.

Earlier there were reports that David Dhawan is planning to push the release date forward. An online report suggested that the film may see the light of the days in June or July. The source had spilled the beans on taking the call on the release date.
‘The call will be taken only after the situation gets back to normal. Maybe June, July or even later, depending on when the scare subsides.” Meanwhile, Maharashtra government has approved the request of filmmakers to resume the shoots of Bollywood movies and TV shows.
