The bowler was shooting for Dhoni: The Untold Story, Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming biopic of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The sequence, shot at a Ranchi stadium, had him ‘enacting’ the last over of the T-20 finals. When Dhoni had selected Jogi, a relative newbie -- that too, over Harbhajan Singh -- to bowl the final over against Pakistan, a lot of eyebrows were raised.
The first to bat, India had already scored 157 runs in 20 overs. When Jogi entered to deliver the last six balls of the first ICC T-20 match, held at Johannesburg, cricket lovers in both the countries were waiting with bated breath. History was about to be created.
At that point, Pakistan needed 13 runs with Misbah-ul-Haq on strike. When Jogi bowled a wide and then conceded a six, a lot of Indians lost hope. But not this gritty bowler -- his next ball was a neatly-laid trap for Misbah, and the latter got caught out by Sreesanth.
Post shooting, he clicked pictures with Anupam Kher, who plays Dhoni's father, and the reel-life Dhoni, Sushant Singh Rajput.
