An eyewitness present at the event told SpotboyE.com about the horrifying incident. It, so happened that the Dangal director was not carrying the invite and he was stopped at the gate by the bouncers who refused to let him in.

“To be honest, a guy in his position does not need to carry an invite! When Nitesh failed to show the invite, the bouncers made him and his wife stand outside for a good 15 minutes. But then one of the organisers spotted the director and let them in,” said the eyewitness.

We contacted the Dangal director and he confirmed that he was indeed turned away from the gate by bouncers.

“The news is true. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to carry my invite that day. I kind of didn’t expect that I would need to carry an invite. The bouncers had stopped us for a while, but later on, a person from the team came and helped us out,” said Nitesh Tiwari.
