Darlings: Alia Bhatt Starrer And Shah Rukh Khan’s Production Venture All Set To Roll Out Soon – REPORTS
According to the reports, Alia Bhatt starrer and Shah Rukh Khan’s production venture, Darlings is all set to go on floors soon.
After Dear Zindagi, actors Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan will be reuniting again for their upcoming film, Darlings, but this time, they are returning as actor and producer rather than co-stars. According to a report in IANS, the film’s announcement will be made soon and with that, the film is also set to go on the floors in the first quarter of 2021. Darlings is a quirky story which talks about the sweet relationship of mother-daughter duo, played by Alia and Shefali Shah, who will go through some crazy circumstances in life.
Apart from Alia Bhatt and Shefali, the film will also feature actors like Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. Talking about the same, a source of the news agency reveals, “The film is set in Mumbai against the backdrop of a middle-class family and traces the lives of two women, as they find courage and love in exceptional circumstances. In fact, the movie is gearing up for a release this year itself. The pre-production work is going on full swing, and the team is all ready to take it on floors very soon in Mumbai.”
"An official announcement is expected this week and, according to the source, Darlings will go on the floors as early as the first quarter of 2021,” the source further says. Darlings mark the directorial debut of Jasmeet K Reen, who has previously written films like Force 2, Fanney Khan and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
