Days After Bringing Son Taimur Home, Kareena Kapoor Khan Rings In Christmas With Saif, Karisma And Malaika
Keeping up with the X-Mas spirit, new mom Kareena stunned in red, while father Saif looked dapper in Indian wear
Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the few actresses who flaunted her pregnancy for the get go, giving would-be moms major fashion goals. She was up and about till the last day and looks like, there is no stopping her even after delivering her son, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi a few days ago. For, she along with hubby Saif Ali Khan, hosted a bash at their house last night to not only ring in Christmas, but also celebrate Taimur’s birth.
Saif and Kareena brought their bundle of joy home on December 22 (Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor Reach Home With Their Son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, Dec 22 2016) and graciously posed for the shutterbugs from their house’s balcony.
The party had Karisma, Amrita Arora Ladak, Malaika Arora, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Randhir Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore, Ibrahim among other in attendance.
The new mom looked radiant in red and father Saif too looked visibly happy. Karisma and Malaika turned up in black -- we are digging the latter’s pantsuit with the bralet inside.
We were hoping to catch a glimpse of the youngest Nawab, Taimur in the party, but couldn’t. Perhaps, the newborn was fast asleep while the parents soaked in the festive spirit.
Taimur’s name created quite a stir the moment it was announced. Several Twitteratis trolled the name saying that it was ‘anti-national’ and that the parents were stupid to have named their son after an ‘invader’. To clear your doubts, Taimur was an emperor who conquered all of Central Asia. The name also means iron in Persian. While Kareena and Saif have rightfully ignored these trolls, Rishi Kapoor and Karan Johar hit back at them saying they have no right to have an opinion on the matter.
