Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been slaying it as a
couple. Deepveer, as fondly called by their fans, tied the knot in November
last year. Keeping each other’s customs in mind, the duo first took pheras as
per Konkani wedding on Nov 14, followed by Sindhi wedding on the next day. Mr.
and Mrs Singh then hosted a couple of wedding receptions in Bangalore and
Mumbai. After their wedding, the dimpled beauty took up her home production,
Chhapaak’s shoot which is helmed by Meghna Gulzar.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are currently in London, where they are shooting for Kabir Khan’s ’83. The film, which is based on India’s World Cup win opposite West Indies in 1983, will see real life couple- Deepika and Ranveer playing another real life couple- Kapil Dev and Romi Dev on silver screen. As the duo continues to shoot for Khan’s ’83 in the British capital, they are often getting snapped posing with their fans. Now, a latest picture that is going viral on social media sees DeepVeer engrossed. In the snap, Dippy can be seen pointing out something to hubby Ranveer Singh.
Meanwhile, as the leggy lass portrays Romi Dev’s role in ’83, she earlier spoke about Romi’s role in Kapil’s success. She had told Bombay Times, “At the end of day, for any champion, the drive, commitment and dedication must come from within. But yes, having a solid support system is important as it allows the person to work without holding back, without any kind of emotional burden. In that sense, Romi ji has played an extremely important part in Kapil Dev’s success. In a way, I think this has also helped him stay grounded. These characteristics are very important in the journey to success.”
