If you recollect, Priyanka Chopra's train outfit at MET GALA 2017 took the media by storm. Well, something similar happened with Deepika Padukone as well. The actress' lavender feather outfit that she wore at IIFA Awards 2019 became a rage. The fashion police, as well as the netizens, couldn't stop raving about her eye-grabbing outfit.
And as usual, Dippy's outfit did become the butt of all jokes when netizens started comparing her attire with a mop. However, taking it sportingly, Deepika shared her own meme on her Instagram, captioning, "Close enough" with 'ROFL.' Hands down, her this gesture is a total winner! Check out the picture below.
She has also shared Deepika shared a who-did-it-better photo with Ranveer Singh on one side and Despicable Me's Agnes on the other, and after sharing the collage, she highlighted Ranveer's side and wrote 'mine' indicating he did it better. For the big night, Deepika was seen wearing a Gaurav Gupta gown in lavender. However, the feather detailing at the bottom of the gown was still acceptable but the veil on her head looked a bit off here. On the other hand, Ranveer, the King of quirks opted for a printed, of course, suit with some satin ribbons coming out from his suit, making him look like a gift wrapper.
