Deepika Padukone’s performance in the film has been applauded by the audience and critics. Deepika made headlines during the promotional spree with her stylish outfits and grabbed fashion Pandits’ attention. The Bajirao Mastani actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures from her underwater pool photoshoot. She captioned the post, “Sometimes the safest place to be is underwater..-Marisa Reichardt” What makes the picture most interesting is not her orange monokini, but the expressions she gave for the lenses. In an underwater shoot, Deepika didn’t adorn any facial expressions and sat in a pose which has made users pass negative comments.
Fans flocked to the comment section and trolled Deepika. One user commented, “Ye kya ho rha paani me po*y”, while another wrote, “Pani me Tai krogi kya”.
Deepika’s latest release Gehraiyaan received mixed reactions from the viewers. While Deepi’s husband Ranveer Singh praised her acting, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took a dig at Padukone’s film by calling it trash and said the film lacked depth. In her Instagram post, she wrote, “bad movies are bad movies no amount of skin show or pornography can save it."
