Deepika Padukone On Wedding With Ranveer Singh: Marriage Is Something I Have Looked Forward To

The much-awaited wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh was finally announced by the couple on October 21. Bollywood’s IT couple, who has been dating for 6 years now, announced their wedding on social media through a statement.The wedding, is set to take place on November 14, 15 and just like every other girl, Dippy is excited and looking forward to her D-Day. Recently, the Padmaavat star attended India Today’s interview with her father Prakash Padukone. Apart from talking about cinema, sports and other things, the father-daughter duo happened to talk about Dippy's forthcoming wedding.

During the interview, the Bajirao Mastani actress was asked how excited she is about her new beginning, she said, “Of course (I am excited), I think it’s the same way that I am excited about signing my next film. Marriage is definitely something I have looked forward to in my life as would any other girl. When it does happen, it will be exciting, it should be exciting. I don’t see why my life should change at all (after marriage).” Her father, Prakash Padukone added, "Today, the bride and the groom decide everything, both the parents just tag along.”

Further, Deepika continued saying, “I have seen my parents do it so well and so successfully and for me that’s the way I would like my married life to be as well.I think they have a beautiful relationship, the way they have managed their professional life and being together as a family and in every way they have set an amazing benchmark for me and my sister and I would love for it to be that way.”
