Recently, Deepika Padukone was in New York for a fundraiser dinner held by the New York Presbyterian Hospital. After her return to Mumbai, the actress is again jetting off and this time to her hometown, Bengaluru. However, a specific video from the airport went viral in no time.
In the video which is doing the rounds on social media, Deepika was seen entering the airport when an airport security staff called her out asking for an ID. On realising that, the Padmaavat actress politely asked, "Chahiye?" Then she immediately took out her ID proof from her bag and showed it to the security personnel. While many praised Deepika for her humble nature while some commented that it's a basic rule which she should've followed without being asked. Watch the video here:
Several social media users came out in support of Deepika's positive attitude. "I like how she was ready to show her ID. Respect," wrote one user on Instagram, while another commented: "Well done both. The security personnel and Ms. Padukone." On the other hand, there were some said, "What kind of question was that from dipika? ' Chahiye:?? What makes her think that she can enter the airport without showing her I'd proof?" One user wrote, "Ain't she aware that one cannot enter airport without ID verification n top of that she is asking "chahiye"? how some fools call it "cooperation"
Meanwhile, her professional diaries look pretty interesting, Deepika has wrapped up shooting for Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak with Vikrant Massey. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 10, 2020. The 33-year-old actress will also be seen sharing screen space with her real-life husband Ranveer Singh in '83 for the first time after their wedding.
