We all know of Deepika Padukone’s brave battle with depression and how she overcame it. Last night, she made her way to the Big Apple to attend a fundraising event in New York. The actress, who is an advocate of mental health awareness, was attending the Anxiety Youth Centre Dinner held by the New York Presbyterian Hospital. There, the actress spoke on depression and anxiety at the event. She also discussed what she went through while battling depression and about her The Live Love Laugh Foundation.
While sharing a few beautiful pictures of herself wearing a pantsuit, she wrote, "Mental illness has presented society with a very tough challenge... But my experience with the illness has taught me so much; to be patient for one...but most importantly that there is ‘Hope’! @tlllfoundation #youthanxietycentre"
Talking about her look, wearing an Alberta Ferretti, Deepika Padukone looked fierce in the pantsuit. She kept her look simple with long dangling earrings and soft waves.
Not only that, the actress even spotted hanging out with an American supermodel and reality television star Kendall Jenner! Deepika met supermodel Kendall Jenner during a fundraising dinner for the Youth Anxiety Center. Sharing pictures from the event, Deepika took to her Instagram account and shared a picture of herself posing with Jenner and penned down her experience of meeting Kendall. She calls it a pleasure meeting.
