Deepika Padukone Says, "Ab Bas" To Cannes 2019; Wants To Be Back To Ranveer Singh And Chhapaak!

Deepika Padukone made heads turn with her sartorial choices at the 72nd edition of Cannes International Film Festival. The actress created stir across the world of fashion with her impeccable avatars at the red carpet. But now looks like, she’s done with these looks and she wants to get back to husband Ranveer Singh and her upcoming film Chhapaak.

In just two days, dimpled beauties surprised her fans with her multiple looks. However, it looked like she was clearly missing Ranveer at the film festival and she took to twitter to made the confession. While replying to a tweet, Deepika wrote, “Ab Bas! Now back to Chappaak & @RanveerOfficial...”

On Day 1 of Cannes Film Festival, the Bajirao Mastani actress chose to wear a cream and black colour high-slit, while on Day 2, she looked inspired by husband and actor Ranveer. The 2nd day look saw her in a lime green colour frill dress. The actress may have even become the target of trolls for her fashion choices on Cannes, but that really didn't stop the lady from experimenting with her looks or avatars at film festival.

 
Apart from Ranveer, Deepika also wants to get back to her film, which is helmed by Meghna Gulzar. Chhappak, co-starring Vikrant Massey, is based on the journey of acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. When the makers of the film had unvield the actress’ first look, her couldn’t stop but appreciated the actress for nailing the look of an acid attack survivor. The makers have wrapped up their first schedule in Delhi. Chappaak is slated to release on January 10, 2020.
