For a while now, Deepika Padukone has been busy shooting for her upcoming film Chhapaak. Pictures of the actress shooting in Delhi for the film had gone viral on the internet and her fans just went gaga over it. Deepika Padukone even shared her first look last month. Her look not only became the talking point in the tinsel town but also took the social media by storm. The fans kept pouring love for the actress. While the shooting of the film was stared earlier this year, recently, the film wrapped up its final schedule.
Wrapping up her schedule, Deepika shared a lovely picture of her cast who are seen in an exciting mode and calls her film as the most precious one. Deepika captions it, "& it’s a wrap on THE MOST PRECIOUS film of my career...see you all at the movies!🎬 10.1.2020 #Chhapaak" Even her hubby Ranveer Singh comments on it saying, "can’t wait to witness the magic ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨" Isn't that adorable?
Deepika Padukone has earlier shared a few pictures from reading sessions also. The film also stars Vikrant Massey in the lead role.
For those of you who don’t know, Chhapaak is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. There were also reports that Deepika broke down on the set on the first day. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Laxmi was asked about what she felt about it? To which she said, "When you see someone in pain, you feel it too. Deepika is someone who embodies the character and not just the face. She immersed herself completely into the role and the character. It is a painful journey, so I think it is natural for anyone to breakdown if they are so involved with the journey. I am only happy to know that she is doing full justice to the role."
Chhapaak is scheduled to release on January 10, 2020.
