It’s been three years since Shashank Khaitan’s 2018 romance drama Dhadak, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, hit the screens. While it was Ishaan's second film after Beyond The Clouds, Dhadak marked Janhvi's debut. To celebrate their film’s third anniversary, both the actors took to their respective social media accounts to cherish the good old shooting days. Taking to Instagram, Shahid Kapoor’s brother shared a couple of unseen BTS pictures from the movie alongside a sweet note.
While thanking his fans, Ishaan wrote, “3 years of dhadak!!! Will remain a special one for all of us who worked on it..And to the fans, thank you for all the love that pours in still for the film, I see you all.”
Janhvi Kapoor also shared a series of memorable photos from her debut film. She captioned the post as, “Dhadak Always special. For the people, the memories, the lessons and all of the love.”
Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan shared a lovely BTS image wherein Janhvi and Ishaan were seen sharing a light moment while munching on some samosas on the sets of the film. Alongside the happy click, he wrote, "Love u kids...keep laughing like this forvever (sic).”

Bankrolled by Karan Johar, Dhadak was an adaptation of Marathi blockbuster Sairat. It depicted the tragic tale of two young lovers (Ishaan-Janhvi) whose love story takes a sad turn because of caste differences. The movie was released on July 20, 2018.
