He often shared videos of himself speaking to his fans, or sharing a positive message, and so on. His posts have been lighting up his fans’ moods amid the bleak, challenging times. Now, Dharmendra has shared a video of him singing his favourite song from the film Arzoo. The lyrics of the song are such, that it will have you believe that the veteran actor is expressing his wish to go somewhere with nobody around owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, he jokingly wrote that isn’t the case.
In the video shared by Dharmendra, the song ‘Ae Dil Mujhe Aisi Jagah Le Chal Jahaa Koi Na Ho’ from the 1950 film Arzoo, can be heard playing in the background. Dharmendra also croons along, and the lyrics do hold relevance with the current times. However, the actor said that he is singing the song because it is his favourite. The song features Dilip Kumar, and has been sung by Talat Mahmood. In his caption, Dharmendra wrote, “Coronavirus se darr ke nahin gaa raha .... Halaat to aise hi hain...........,.........Talat ki meethi awaaz mein Dalip sahab par Arzoo mein filmaaya gaya ye mera favourite gaana hai.”
