Dharmendra Gets Teary-Eyed As He Remembers Sridevi At Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se Trailer Launch

Dharmendra gets emotional when asked about Sridevi at the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se. The two stars shared a great rapport and worked together in Naaka Bandi (1990)

Sridevi passed away on February 24. The legendary actress has left an indelible mark on the film fraternity and not just her family, but fans and co-stars miss her sorely. Dharmendra, who starred with her in Naaka Bandi (1990), is no exception.

During the trailer launch of his upcoming film Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, he got emotional at the mention of Sridevi.

Speaking about her, Dharmendra said, “I have acted with her in Naaka Bandi, she was a nice person. We extremely feel so sad that she left so early. She should have been there today to look after her daughters. I’m a very emotional person. She was a nice artiste. During the shoots too, she used to bring home cooked food for us. What more can I say?”

Dharmendra is going to be back on-screen after quite a while with sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol for Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se. The film, which is the third part in the franchise, is going to hit theatres on August 31.


To talk of the trailer, Shatrughan Sinha, Salman Khan, Rekha and Sonakshi Sinha ‘s cameos are the highlights. Sonakshi and Rekha have recreated Are Rafta Rafta Dekho song from Dharam and Rekha’s Kahani Kismat Ki (1973).
