Bollywood sensation Deepika Padukone ringed her New Year in the best way possible with family and friends. The actress jetted off to Rajasthan, with hubby Ranveer Singh and family to welcome 2021. She spent her time cruising in the Ranthambore National park, enjoying watching tigers. Deepika, who took some time off from her work commitments, was earlier seen shooting for Shakun Batra’s next film in the city. Now, as the actress will resume work anytime soon, as per the latest reports, Padukone is going to be a part of the Dhoom film franchise.
According to the latest reports in Peepingmoon.com, Deepika Padukone is set to play a negative role in the film Dhoom 4. The reports stated that the makers of the film wanted a female antagonist instead of a male in the negative part. As per the reports, sources revealed that Deepika is planning to be a baddie in her next role. The report stated that Padukone is in talks with the makers currently. As per the report, the actress is figuring out her dates to accommodate the film. The report stated that as Dhoom 4 is said to go on floors by the end of 2021, Padukone is managing her dates.
Speaking about the Dhoom franchise, the film series has boasted some phenomenal performances by antagonists like John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan, and Aamir Khan. The actors have delivered stellar performances in Dhoom 1, 2 and Dhoom 3, respectively. Talking about the fourth instalment, there were rumours that Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, and Shah Rukh Khan were being considered for the negative role. But, with Deepika’s name coming up, the actress is all set to win hearts.
Meanwhile, work-wise, Deepika Padukone has Shakun Batra’s film and a few other projects in the pipeline.
