Urmila Matondkar Buys A New Workspace Worth Rs 3.75 Crore In Mumbai's Suburban Area - REPORT
According to a report, actress-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar has bought herself a brand new expensive office in a plush location of Mumbai!
Earlier this year, Urmila Matondkar grabbed the headlines for foraying into politics with Congress. She, however, soon withdrew her name and joined Shiv Sena after some time. Not to forget her ugly social media spat with Kangana Ranaut that garnered a lot of attention. Now, if a report in Mumbai Mirror is anything to go by, the Rangeela star has bought herself a brand new workspace in Mumbai's Khar area. The staggering price of her new property will make your jaws drop on the floor.
As per the portal, the actress turned politician's new office is little more than 1000 square feet and is considered to be a prime property due to its location in the city of the plushest areas. It's said that the usual rent rates in that area range anywhere between Rs 5 to 8 lakhs a month. Reportedly, she purchased her office on the sixth floor from a businessman on December 28, 2020. Well, she bought it for Rs 3.75. Huge, isn't it? Now, this is some grand way to start a new year.
In a conversation with PTI, Urmila had opened up on joining Shiv Sena saying, "My intention is to become a people's leader, like I have been a people-made film star. I don't want to become a leader who just sits in AC rooms and tweets...I know what I have to do and how to do and I will keep learning."
In other news, Urmila’s Instagram was recently hacked after she direct messaged a user. The actress was quick to file an FIR and retrieve her account. She thanked Mumbai Police for the same.
