Dia Mirza Confides In Kareena Kapoor Khan About Her Mother Being Detected With Cancer And How Early Detection Was Helpful

Dia Mirza is currently in the news because of her wedding to Vaibhav Rekhi. She got married in an intimate ceremony with only friends and family invited. The wedding pictures took social media by storm as she looked stunning in a red saree. Now, a video of Dia Mirza and Kareena Kapoor Khan has made its way to the internet. It is from the time when she appeared on Kareena Kapoor Khan's talk show and spoke about her mother's cancer diagnosis.
Dia Mirza revealed that her mother was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2019 and that early detection helped in battling the deadly disease. "This happened with my mother last year. She was diagnosed with first-stage cancer. And because of early detection, we could take her to the hospital and they conducted a mastectomy on her. And thankfully, touch wood, she didn't even have to go through chemo or radiation. So and she is cancer free." She stated that this is the best example that she can give as they were discussing the importance of the pap smear test and self examination.
Dia Mirza also spoke about social media trolls and how she would have got nightmares if she would have received messages that Swara Bhasker receives from trolls.
