Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein actress Dia Mirza got married to businessman Vaibhav Rekhi recently. This is her second marriage as she was earlier married to Sahil Sangha. Dia planned for a very eco-friendly wedding and broke the stereotype by having a woman priest carry out all the ceremonies. The actress looked drop-dead-gorgeous in a red saree while Vaibhav looked handsome in white kurta, pajama. In her latest interview with Brut India, Dia has explained how she planned for a sustainable wedding and ensured that there was no wastage of food.

In the interview, she revealed that the couple knew how many members attending the wedding were vegetarians and non-vegetarians and accordingly they laid out the platter. She also mentioned that the decor that was done at her wedding was of wasted twigs and wood. Instead of exotic flowers from all around the world, the couple chose to pick locally grown flowers. She wanted a very earthly wedding and thus all the decor was natural, and a lot of it was recyclable. She also ensured that there was no usage of plastic bottles.

Dia also spoke about picking an outfit that can be reused. She mentioned that last time she auctioned her wedding outfit, but this time she was careful of choosing something that she can wear again. Check out the video here:

Meanwhile, Dia has also announced her pregnancy. Sharing a picture from her trip to Maldives, Dia announced her pregnancy by showing off her baby bump.
