friendship which hit rock bottom but ultimately SURVIVED. Well, we’re talking
about Karan Johar and Kajol’s friendship.
The duo spoke a lot against each other, sometimes direct
and sometimes indirect. No one could believe that they will ever get back to
being friends. However, two days back when Kajol liked Karan Johar’s
children’s picture on Instagram and KJo in return followed
Kajol on Twitter, everyone started wondering what’s up with both of them
and if reconciliation is on the cards?

If reports are to be believed, then this patch-up is
beyond social media. It initiated over Kajol’s birthday lunch. Well yes,
according to a report in Filmfare, Kajol invited Karan Johar for an informal
lunch on her 43rd birthday.
Karan Johar obliged Kajol and turned up for the lunch. As
per the sources quoted by Filmfare, Kajol and Karan chatted for a long time.
Amidst their conversation, Karan also got teary-eyed.

“She's never been big on parties. It was an informal
lunch. Karan sportingly turned up. They hugged, chatted for a couple of hours
and Karan teared up. When he left, the ice had melted. They did not touch on
the issues that had created the rift.” said the source.
Karan Johar's autobiography, An Unsuitable Boy, contained
many headline grabbing revelations and Karan had clearly stated that
he does not consider Kajol a friend anymore.
However, with the latest development, looks like Karan
and Kajol are back to being buddies.
